I enhance my walks with a super simple breathing exercise.
Itâs all about syncing my breaths with my steps.
Hereâs the drill:
đ¶Inhale, 1, 2, 3, 4
đ¶Exhale, 4, 3, 2, 1
Itâs that easy! Just breathe in for 4 steps, a brief pause, then breathe out for 4 steps, a brief pause. And always through the nose!
This allows me to notice my breathing during light exercise and is a great way to incorporate conscious breathing into my routine.
