WHY BREATHING?
I appreciate every breath I take knowing the complex gears that turn in my body with each inhale and exhale.
Each system of the human body is a miracle in itself, and they all work together in an amazing way. Breathing is a great example.
There’s a slew of events that happen with each breath. Just think about it: every 10 seconds—ideally, but for most people more often—the same sequence of activities happens in your body. It’s mind boggling.
I want to share all the breathtaking 😉 aspects of breathing with you. Maybe you already know some parts and just need a refresher, and maybe you’ll hear some things for the first time. In any case, the methods I teach to improve proper breathing will be with you for a lifetime as a tool to support your well-being.
In my program I teach breathing exercises as a safe and natural way to quickly affect your autonomic nervous system. Most of us are stuck on autopilot, and we're getting bounced around by our environment leaving us feeling wired but tired, imbalanced, and frazzled. Breathing exercises offer many of the same benefits as meditation, but they're easier to learn, can be practiced anywhere, and the results are very predictable.
